Interview Story
Like everyone
does, Ali Matthews has a unique moment in her life that made a big impact on
her character. Ali is a student at Eastview High School. She wants to study
political science when she is older and make a positive impact on the world. In
her spare time she dances and likes country music because it tells a story. Her
family is very sarcastic, fun, and similar to one another. Ali was changed in a
way that made her closer to the people in her life. When she was in 8th grade,
one of her dearest friends passed away unexpectedly. Within a week her friend
was at school, gone for two days, and then passed. It took a toll on her and
the people all around her. Ali became closer with her family and friends. She
told me, "It makes you become closer with the people in your life".
Unexpected or not, this tragedy struck everyone around her. She told me she
now, "Expects the unexpected". One thing that makes Ali happy is when
she knows she can count on her friends to be there. When her friend passed,
people around her joined together and came closer to one another to be there
for everyone in that hard time. They do a lot of nice things in remembrance for
her every year.
